The Sounds Sensational 2010 concert at the Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham built on the earlier 2008 concert at the same venue (see below). On both occasions, an audience of around 2,000 witnessed the spectacle of a massed male voice choir joined by a brass or military band. In 2008, the Grimethorpe Colliery Band were our guests and in 2010, the Band of the Blues and Royals made the trip to Nottingham. These photographs provide just a flavour of an event which will see its return to Nottingham in 2013 – this time with the Band of the Royal Marines.
