60th anniversary of the Aberfan disaster – a concert of remembrance

We are honoured to be invited by our friends, Bestwood MVC, to join them for a concert commemorating the 60th anniversary of the tragic Aberfan disaster.

Bestwood and Eastwood are further joined by Pye Hill & District MVC and Hucknall and Linby Mining Community Brass Band.

All four performing groups have their roots firmly in the mining industry and have an affinity with the Aberfan community, with strong recollections of the disaster in many peoples’ memories.
