The RBL works tirelessly to support our veterans and their families in their time of need. SUMMARY:Carols and festive fun at Morley Hayes
DESCRIPTION:Last Christmas\, for the third year in a row\, ECMVC had a wonderful time entertaining guests who had bought the special supper and carols package. Everyone had a great time and it was a wonderful way to get set for Christmas Day itself! And we’re returning again to this lovely venue to help the festive supper event be the magical event it has developed into. The choir will be singing from 6pm and will continue until guests are served with their meals. Pricing is set by the Morley Hayes events team and places need to be booked and paid for directly with them. The event is always extremely popular and quickly becomes booked up\, so keep an eye on the Morley Hayes web site and Facebook page!

DESCRIPTION:ECMVC are delighted to have been invited to perform at the Nottingham Castle Christmas Market 2025. \nWe will be performing on Sunday 30 November between 2pm and 3pm. DESCRIPTION:Come along to St Mary’s Church\, Eastwood for ECMVC’s FREE afternoon concert on Saturday 30 August at 3pm\, when we’ll be joined by very special guest\, the wonderfully talented soloist\, Nicola Hunt.\n\nThis special concert has been arranged to thank our friends and followers for their support so far this year – and as admission is free\, we also thought it would be a great opportunity for those who haven’t yet experienced an ECMVC concert to try us out for the first time.\n\nWe have exciting news to share with the audience\, together with a programme that includes choir and audience favourites and new items.\n\nThis will be our last appearance at St Mary’s until our afternoon Christmas concert on Sunday 14 December\, so come along (did we say it’s FREE?) and see what the fuss is all about! Our concerts at St Mary’s normally sell out very quickly\, so if you want a ticket for this one\, make sure you book or reserve one sooner rather than later.\n\nYou will still need a ticket as we have to keep a check on seat availability – our online ticketing system will be open from 9am Monday 11 August (click or tap the ad below to go straight to TryBooking and book tickets). DESCRIPTION:The Eastwood Collieries’ Male Voice Choir presents a summer afternoon concert of singing in St Mary’s Church\, Eastwood\, with special guests\, ‘ECS Singers’ and ‘Kirkby Chorus’. This event will demonstrate the joy of singing and performing in a group.\n\nKirkby Chorus was established in June 2021\, near the end of the COVID-19 pandemic\, to help combat the isolation many felt during lockdown. They are a community choir passionate about singing and fostering an inclusive\, welcoming environment. Open to all ages and backgrounds\, they focus on fun\, community engagement\, and learning songs and harmonies.\n\nECS Singers are a community choir formed nine years ago under the organisation of ‘Everyone can sing’. They enjoy making a contribution to their local community and collaborate more widely with other choirs.

DESCRIPTION:ECMVC are delighted to be renewing our acquaintance with the Dalesmen Male Voice Choir from Derbyshire. The venue is ECMVC’s home ground of St Mary’s Church in Eastwood and tickets are on sale now\, priced at £10 for adults and £5 for under-18s. Tickets can be purchased via choir members\, or online using our online booking site. (No fees are currently charged for using this service.) Alternatively\, tickets can be reserved to be picked up and paid for on the door by calling 07802 758223. \nInterval refreshments and a raffle will be available. \nSt Mary’s Church has been raising funds for essential repairs to the structure which supports its eight bells and we hope to be able to make a significant contribution to this project from the event proceeds . \nOur last few events in Eastwood have had capacity audiences\, so please book tickets early to avoid disappointment.

DESCRIPTION:We’re delighted to be joined by Underwood’s Rock ‘n’ Soul Singers for this event at Greasley Church. ECMVC even has a mention in one of the stained glass windows! \nRock ‘n’ Soul Singers is a mixed community choir based in Underwood\, Nottinghamshire. Established in 2012\, when a group of friends decided they wanted to sing\, the choir has continued to thrive and grow\, with membership now almost at full capacity. The choir’s repertoire covers rock\, pop and soul from the 1960’s to the present day. Rachel Cropley is Musical Director and Rachel is ably assisted by Alan Shepherd and accompanist\, Teresa Mills.  \nThis will be the third occasion that ECMVC and Rock ‘n’ Soul have shared a concert platform together and the previous occasions have provided the audience with a great mix of music styles. DESCRIPTION:The Humberston Singers are visiting Eastwood for a joint concert with Eastwood Collieries’ Male Voice Choir. Our guests are an excellent mixed voices choir and in the past we have had the pleasure of being their guests in their hometown of Grimsby. This will be an excellent evening of a wide range of musical styles but\, as ever\, the quality is guaranteed.  \nThe concert will be the first major performance by ECMVC since the pandemic\, so we are looking forward to a large Eastwood audience!
