Summer’s End – very few tickets left!

We’re delighted to say that there are only a few tickets left for our Summer’s End concert on Saturday 15 September, at St Mary’s Church, Eastwood. We would urge anyone who would like to be in the audience but who has not bought or reserved a ticket to do so as soon as possible, just in case there are no tickets available on the night.

The programme of items is looking very impressive, with ECMVC singing a great mixture of songs new to our repertoire and some old favourites. Items to be sung by our guests, Rolls-Royce Ladies, include Will You Love Me Tomorrow, Rumour Has It, Livin’ On A Prayer and Bohemian Rhapsody. What a selection!

As a special offer, tickets for Summer’s End can be exchanged on the night for a 25% discount on our next concert at St Mary’s. Sunday 4 November is the date, 7.30pm the time and our very special guests for this concert are the Leigh Orpheus Male Voice Choir who will be joining us from Essex. Leigh Orpheus tell us that they are bringing over 50 choristers and several supporters, so tickets will once again be in great demand. Tickets will be on general sale from Monday 1 October.

Two other forthcoming concerts of note:

Friday 12 October sees ECMVC joining the choir of Howitt Primary School, at St Luke’s Church in Loscoe. For more details, see the event page on the website. Tickets for this event will be prioritised for the families of the school choir but any remaining tickets will be on general sale from Monday 1 October.

On Saturday 20 October, ECMVC will be performing in a concert which will be the culmination of a day’s events and activities organised by Brinsley Parish Council to mark the end of World War One. Tickets are £5 and are now available from Brinsley Parish Council – see the event page on the website for details of how to purchase/reserve these.

We will be managing our commitments very carefully in 2019 as we have some major events to prepare for. In June, we’ll be working with Chorum Records to record a new CD which will be released later in the year and, of course, we have our September centenary concert to prepare for. We’ve already been asked by several people when tickets will be available for that concert!
