Happy Christmas from ECMVC!

It has been yet another momentous year for Eastwood Collieries’ Male Voice Choir and we would like to wish all our supporters and friends a very Happy Christmas and a peaceful new year.

In 2017, we:

…appointed Gemma as our new Principal Accompanist
…had fun in the sun in Langley Mill
…practised hard every week under the expert guidance of MD, Liz
…helped raise a LOT of funds for local and national charities
…made dreams come true
…visited some local care homes to entertain those unable to attend concerts
…shared the stage with some wonderful friends
…helped a lovely couple celebrate their wedding
…helped a lovely couple celebrate their DIAMOND wedding
…and had a lot of laughs along the way

Here’s a short video montage of photos and the choir singing at one of our recent practice nights. It’s a sort of Christmas present from all of us! We hope you enjoy the little amble through some highlights of 2017…

We also started planning in earnest for the choir’s centenary year, which will commence in the summer of 2019!

We’re relishing the thought of taking the ECMVC story to a further chapter in 2018 and we really hope that you will help us on our way. If you think you know someone who would like to receive news stories from the choir, please ask them to visit the website (www.ecmvc.org) or our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/ecmvc). They will be sure of a welcome from us!

But, for now, have a very Happy Christmas and a great 2018 – from all of us at ECMVC!
